Zalman Kastel grew up seeing people mainly as “us & them”, as a white, male Chabadnik Jew in racially divided Brooklyn. Since 2002, he has directed Together for Humanity, a Muslim, Jewish, Christian organisation fostering acceptance, and respect. Muslim-Jewish-Western relationships are a key focus for this Rabbi with a Graduate Diploma in Education.
